- My name is Henrik Baecklund, my role at Nobis Hospitality Group is Sales Manager for the meetings & events for the entire group.
How would you describe your venue?
- Hotel J is a perfect getaway for those wanting to experience the Swedish archipelago and Stockholm’s city pulse. We offer friendly service and high-quality Scandinavian-style decor. At J you’re surrounded by nature, with pine trees around the corner and an outstanding sea view - only 25 minutes by boat from Stockholm Nybroplan with regular take-offs.
Once you’ve checked in with us, we want you to feel like you have everything you could possibly need within reach. Enjoy your dinner at popular Restaurant J or in cozy J:s Tornvilla or conduct an inviting conference in one of our wide range of meeting venues. Rest in front of the fireplace or drink your coffee in our garden overlooking the water. You can also go for a run in the woods and take a refreshing bath from our pier.

Can you describe with a few words how you work with sustainability at your venue and why that is important to you?
- Sustainability is a cornerstone of the Nobis group's strategy and means that the group takes responsibility for minimizing our environmental impact and creating a safe and developing working environment at the same time as our guests get a quality experience synchronized with profitability.
Hotel J and Restaurant J are proud to present an extensive and engaging environmental program which has been awarded by the Nordic Ecolabel. The eco cycle is a common concern and we are determined to be an active part in protecting the nature and raise the level of environmental competence among our staff members and our partners.
Being awarded with the Nordic Ecolabel, otherwise known as the “Swan” means that we comply with numerous limit values and other requirements in terms of reduction of energy consumption, chemical products, water consumption and quantities of waste as well as serving more ecological and seasonal food.
