Westin Buss was founded in 1924 in Docksta, in the northern part of Sweden, and is today a well-established bus company in Stockholm that offers modern and comfortable coaches for different types of transportation.
Hello there, what is your name and what role do you have at your company?
- My name is Björn Boman and I am the CEO of Westin Buses.
How would you describe your venue?
- Our venue is in our buses and were they drive. We have buses for all different occasions and parties, and always do our best to adapt the bus model and size to the customer’s wishes. Bus trips focusing on safety, comfort and environment.
Can you describe with a few words how you work with sustainability and why that is important to you?
- The consumables the bus requires in the form of liquids, oils and spare parts are purchased from environmentally certified suppliers who can guarantee the products. Repairs and washes are carried out by companies that are environmentally approved.
With the help of our advanced planning system, we can also prevent long-term advances in an environmentally friendly way by planning vehicles that have already completed a mission in a nearby area.
Finally, please give us some of your favorite spots in Stockholm?
- My favorite places are the archipelago of Stockholm, the cobbling streets in the city as well as the museums Nationalmuseum, Artipelag and Drottningholms castle. I live nearby the castle and go for walks there all time of the year. A true delight!
